Young Dog Shot and Left in Oklahoma City Culvert Learns to Trust Again

A young dog who should be spending her days chasing toys and exploring the yard has instead spent much of her short life surviving cruelty. Adaline, now known as Addie, was found inside a culvert in Oklahoma City before she had even turned one. She was injured, dirty and frightened.

Rescuers quickly learned that the gunshot wounds, several in total, were only part of her story. Her body showed signs of wider trauma, pointing to sustained violence rather than a single incident.
